Whew! Thanks Pope for the insight. For a minute there I thought poverty, starvation, pollution, overpopulation, greedy financial institutions and war for oil and resources were a problem. Now I feel better knowing that it's really not all those global things, but the choices of a few (hey, we all know how rampant gay marriage and abortions are) that threaten our "great society." Whew! Thanks Pope for the insight. For a minute there I thought poverty, starvation, pollution, overpopulation, greedy financial institutions and war for oil and resources were a problem. Now I feel better knowing that it's really not all those global things, but the choices of a few (hey, we all know how rampant gay marriage and abortions are) that threaten our "great society."
Apparently pedophilia and overpopulation due to their inane and archaic stance on birth control don't rank very high on his list. Go figure.

ReplyDeleteThis pope, in the secular world, would be the CEO of Goldman Sachs, BP or The Fed. He is evil, greedy, ambitious and manipulative. He is a member of OPUS DEI, a super secretive, ultra-conservative cult sect of Catholicism that wants to move society back to the middle ages.

ReplyDeleteHe is different in that he his sexual abuse of children. There is no excuse for that, nothing comes before that, not even the interests of the church.
Other than that, there is little difference. They are both money hungry, power seeking entities that take advantage of the lower eschelon, less educated people in our society. They are run just like a business and should be forced to pay taxes like the rest of us.
