Water quality, sustainable energy and land use are among the subjects of key conservation bills winding through the General Assembly as the 45-day session draws to a close. When the legislature does its business in Richmond, conservation groups are busy shepherding bills they support while lobbying against those they oppose. There are plenty of both this session.
