"Since my opponent took office the employment rate in Page County in the 15th District has increased fourfold from five to twenty percent. So, it is unconscionable that he would not support extending unemployment benefits. We need a state representative with leadership, courage, and compassion.
That is what I will bring to Richmond."

Here's an article from Page News and CourierMr. do nothing Gilbert seems to have his hands full. This Marine looks pretty promising, he's not afraid to stand up for the people of this area like the current delegate.
What do you mean? Gilbert stands up for people who deserve it. If the losers in Page would get off of their lazy asses they could get a job and stop whining about how old mean Mr. Gilbert won't give them a handout.
Gilbert's right, Page County people need to pull themselves up and get a job instead of trying to swindle insurance companies all the time.
Shouldn't the title say "Champion of the unemployed man, when it is politically expedient"?
One would have to wonder how much longer the good people of Page County will keep voting for someone who considers them lazy and dishonest.
