What do Tracy Pyles and Doug Wilder have in common?
Both will do anything to get attention...
Both consider themselves to be very important...
Both are willing to wreck someone else just to prove their importance...

Apparently upset that he wasn't properly courted to run against Saxman, and obviously upset now that Saxman's withdrawal has created an open seat, and just plain jealous that he's not in the news, now the good ole boy is trying to cast doubt about his own party's candidate.
What next? Will Pyles seek the now available Republican nomination? He's already been courting SWAC Girl.
Pathetic self importance? You betcha.

When you ride with the SWAC Girl, you ride with the devil. She crazy.
Gop Left Me are you trashing Doug Wilder ?
What a Pyle.
Kind of a cross between the mayor of Mayberry and mayor Marion Berry.
Aw whats wrong with Wilder ?
Self centered loose cannon comes to mind.
Would you still say that if he endorses Deeds ? Watch what you say your words might come back to bite you.
Of course I would, the truth is the truth.
Fulk this is not a trick question and i wont be offended if don't answer but what do make of the endorsement Bob McDonnell got yesterday ?
Is this Tom?
Yeah that really shocked me just wondered what you thought the reason was. Tom
I had to look her up because I really knew little other than what I've briefly seen on a couple other blogs. Here is the WaPo article I found.
I'm not sure what to think. On its face, it looks like a good and sincere endorsement for Candidate McDonnell. I know there will be all manner of speculation of maneuver and back room promises etc... There may also be speculation that this individual is wanting to show that the Black community doesn't always vote Dem, but I don't think that's the case.
I personally think it is what she says, that after speaking with both candidates she had a preference.
Not my preference, I’ve known Creigh since 2003 and think he brings the right combination of ideas, skills and judgement, not to mention his incredible work ethic, (which I suppose I just mentioned) to be an excellent Governor. I also have been uncomfortable with McDonnell’s positions. But that’s just me.
Competition is going to be fierce for endorsements and support, and one can never assume that just because someone supported one candidate of the same party that they will do so again. Virginians like for the most part to think independently and make up their own minds.
There are those in the right and left quartiles who will either vote always for their party candidate or just stay home if they don't like him or her.
One cannot also assume that because Obama won in Virginia that those same people who supported him will show up at the polls this year to vote. There are many folks who only vote in presidential years.
In the marketplace of leadership and politics, competition forces people to better performance. Unchallenged politicians become lazy and complacent and take their constituents for granted.
No candidate can take a constituency for granted and does so at their own peril nowadays...
This is good for the voters, and the community.
Fulk great answer i agree with most of what you said. I however really like Bob McDonnell i have known him almost as long as you have known Deeds. I think we will see alot of people crossing party lines in every election from now on, sure we have alot of die hard Republicans and Democrats that will only vote for their partys. No matter which one wins in Nov. they have a tough job in front of them. I sure wouldn't want the job. I will be honest with you i had to look up Sheila Johnson myself.Im not sure how much she will help McDonnell other than donations. I think every voter will make up their minds themselves. Fulk thanks for a no BS honest answer. Tom
