Does anyone know why Stephen Bishop does not have a job ?
70% of the American economy is consumer spending. What are you buying these days? If no one is buying we don't need warehouse men and teamsters.
Wasn't the stimulus package according to Obama going to create jobs ? Another 700,000+ jobs lost in June, yeah Bubby things are really getting better aren't they get yourself another glass of Kool-Aid.BTW i bought a new f150 this week.
So Bubby you don't have any idea why he is really out of work do you. Stay tuned Stephen Bishop may not be someone you want in your ad.
The $125 million Bob turned down required Virginia to pay more in weekly benefits, extend unemployment benefits from 26 weeks to 59 weeks and put part timers on the unemployment dole for the first time. The money from Obama would run out in just 5 weeks. Then Virginia would have to raise unemployment taxes on businesses, which will lead to more layoffs.
The money sounds good, but lowering taxes on businesses will get them to hire more people. Not hurting them.
I am very sorry for Bishop, but he will have a harder time finding a job if Virginia took the federal loan shark offer.
Bob McDonnell is thinking about the future, and he knows a few bucks today will make things worse in the long run.
