McDonnell - Another Borrow and Spend Republican

So I was wondering how Bob McDonnell was planning to pay for Virginia's critical transportation needs. I went to his web site and found out. Bob plans to borrow the money from Wall Street by bonding Virginia taxpayers with debt. Another borrow-and-spend Republican in the spirit of George Bush! Some things never change.

Bob will tell you that he won't raise your taxes...that's because he plans to pass the taxes on to your children.

Remove your nose from Obama's boxers and maybe, just MAYBE, you would have some credibility.

Bob Wants Bonds - $4 Billion worth of debt to Virginians.

The last time this happened, Republican Jim Gilmore ruined Virginian's bond rating and Mark Warner (along with sane Republicans) put it back in the black.

This 5'4" geek is a moron, leave it the douche bags like John Doe to support him and the idiots of VA to vote for him.

If Warner did such a good job Kaine must really be a failure.

Bubby said...

Since Jim Gilmore wrecked Virginia's economy, why is Bob McDonnell copying his borrow-and-spend ways?

PJ the pedophile calls me a name? I would be offended. If I cared what pedophiles said or did.

Obama has missed the figures on everything he has done so far i wonder why anyone would think he would do any different on health care reform. He just missed the national debt projection by over 2 trillion dollars. Please someone tell me how do you think Deeds could do a better job than McDonnell would ?

Creigh Deeds wants a dedicated funding source for transportation, Bob McDonnell want to borrow it from Wall Street brokers - we'll pay times three, once for the loan amount, twice more for the interest.

Bob is for Bankers.

What you are saying is Deeds will raise taxes in a time when people are hurting.

What I'm saying is that there is no free ride, despite what these "no tax" Republicans tell you. You pay now, or you pay later... plus interest.

Bubby you are exactly right thats what i have been saying for a long time its a shame Obama can't apply that same type of thinking to the health care debate everyone should pull their on weight.

Bubby said...

What makes you think everyone won't pull their own weight? The President of my health insurance company (Wellpoint) made almost $10 million last year. Is she pulling her own weight, or just screwing me over?

Good idea Anon, while we're making comparisons why don't you tell us why you think McDonnell would be better than Deeds?

Wonder why Va Farm Bureau, Virginia Association of Realtors and the Virginia Credit Union League all just endorsed Bob McDonnell ?

There is no competition for health care insurance for small businesses in Virginia. You get stuffed into a group based on your size and given a rate. Take it or leave it.

That is why I support either a public option to provide competition, or legislate that Health Insurance companies cannot profit on this essential commodity. If they are smart, insurers will take the public option.

Why do you think a public option would work ?

Bubby said...

The public option would re-introduce competition for health care insurance. For-Profit Insurers would be forced to sharpen their pencils, reduce their ridiculous profits, CEO pay, and limited coverage...or face the migration of customers to a public plan that had none of that.

Excellent comment Bubby. The for-profit insurers are scared to death of a "public option" because it will force them to actually be competitive, which is how the free matket is supposed to work.

This is why they are spending $1.4 million EVERY DAY in lobbying and disinformation and have hired 6 lobbyists for every legislator.

I hope it works alot smoother than the Cash for Clunkers did.

McDonnell is counting on people for two things:
1) Having no memory.
2) Not paying attention.

Did you see McDonnell down in Weyer's Cave talking to one of his sheeple about "getting government out of his business" while the Farmercan was celebrating the new stream fencing that the government had given him? That was special.
