In an ever increasing need to sound "more republican" this is what that party has become. How pathetic, how low, how desperate. If this man is allowed to continue in the role of lawmaker then it is truly a sad, sickening statement as to the quality and values of Virginians. It is one of the many reasons why I ran against Steve Landes. As a former Reagan republican I truly believe that the GOP has lost their way.

BTW, I proudly signed the petition today. Although we can't easily change the rhetoric and pompous demagoguery of Washington, we certainly can change the hate speech follishness in Richmond. I encourage all who view this post to sign the petition.foduc

Bob Marshall's job description is "representative". Does Bob Marshall represent your values?

Hey, let's burn him at the stake! We can't "allow" him to continue the job he was elected to over a dumb and foolish statement, no sirree. Other pols cheat on their wives, evade taxes (looking at you, Charlie Rangel), and get indicted for criminal behavior, but let's not "allow" Marshall to stay in office over something he said.

Oh, and lets also put a pox on all Virginians as to their "quality" and "values" if he stays in office. You, Marrow, are a joke. Couldn't even sniff 30%...against Landes? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Because when you abort the first-born of any, Nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children. In the Old Testament, the first-born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest, and with the knowledge they have from faith has been verified by a study by the Virginia Commonwealth University. First abortions of the first pregnancy are much more damaging to the woman than latter abortions.

Bob Marshall took this wacky nonsense rattling around in his head and used it to justify anti-abortion legislation: HB 334.
More crap legislation that the Virginia Senate will have to haul to the curb.

Real classy and articulate comments Anon. How old are you? First, what other politicians do does not justify Marshall's insane, extremist views. As a politician in a "representative" system, he should be held accountable for his prejudicial and ridiculously false remarks, as all politicians should be. You may remember that I called out Landes for his Nazi comments. If they were held accountable maybe then they's think twice about saying ignorant things just to get some press and stir up the masses.

Second, considering that fact that this past election was really a referendum on Obama and Congress, and that Pelosi made her "public Option" announcement the night before which brought republicans out in droves on election day, and that I was a virtual unknown running against an entrenched incumbent, in a very conservative district, I'd say that my numbers were just about right. It really wasn't a big surprise.

But I did wake up the district and it's media and got them talking. I scared the heck out of the Landes camp, to the point that they reneged on their promise for debates. I also got to meet a lot of really great people, of both parties, who just want to be safe, healthy, have a job, and good schools for their children. Those needs transcend the polarized hatred of current American politics. You really ought to step back and take a breather anon because you're not contributing to the dialog. You may think that your immaturity is cute but you're not solving anything, all your doing is raising your blood pressure and giving yourself indigestion.

Who are you to talk about class, Marrow? Who are you to indict the "values" and "quality" of Virginians if this pol stays in office? One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. No one suggested the misdeeds of others excuses what he said, but his words mean little when compared to the sometimes immoral and often criminal behavior that they engage in. He'll be held accountable, just as they all are, at the ballot box. Why don't you let his constituents decide for themselves whether or not he should continue in his seat?

And what do you think you're solving or contributing with your high-minded faux indignation? Hate speech? REALLY?!?! The over-the-top reaction is just as ridiculous as his remarks were. I do recall your squawking about the 'Nazi' remark, too. Maybe that swung you above the 25% mark, you think? (Albeit very barely, from what I remember...)

Marrow is the typical Socialist, Democrat, Liberal, etc...the only opinions he values are the ones that mirror his own distorted views of how he "feels" the world should be, and has no real concept of reality...oh yeah, and when he is faced with facts he immaturely reverts to name calling and insipidly throwing out the "Nazi" tag----Stalinist!

Anonymouse: Too bad you weren't paying attention last year...

When you've got a White House that's keeping names of people that don't agree with them, that reminds me of what went on in the Soviet Union and in Nazi Germany. And that's exactly what's happening.

Wasn't it the previous president who set up the dept of homeland security and began the wiretapping of American citizens?
