"The current majority in the House of Delegates refuses to understand that Virginia can and must become a national leader in promoting green jobs and alternative and renewable energy sources. When elected, I will be a leader in efforts to promote energy efficiency, conservation and alternative energy development. While some of these efforts must necessarily focus on longer-term development and emerging technologies, there are a large number of things Virginia can and should do immediately to strengthen our green economic sector."
Gene Hart, 26th District House of Delegates
"With unemployment around 8%, the towns and communities in our district desperately need jobs. I will work tirelessly with the new Governor to bring to our area some of the $625 million dollars allocated by the Federal Government for green job training, and the $20 billion dollars dedicated to high-paying green jobs. Virginia and District 25 have great employment potential and there is no reason why we shouldn’t be at the forefront of green technology and jobs."
Greg Marrow, 25th District House of Delegates
"We are facing difficult times. In order to get folks back to work and improve the economy, we need a concrete plan. I have created the 15th District Business Plan in order to present my ideas on how to limit wasteful government spending, improve the economy, and create jobs. This is intended to be a "living document" that will change and grow with your input. So, please take a look and let me know what you think.
Click HERE to see the plan.
The economy will not improve until we all come together to share our ideas and find a unified way to move forward."
John Lesinski, 15th House of Delegates
"This time, we can’t afford to let the clean energy boom pass us by. With our strong agriculture, colleges and universities, and available workforce, we can ride the coming wave and create hundreds of high-paying green jobs. But the time to get started is now. And the good news is, we can tap unprecedented federal funding to make it happen, from sources including the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides, which more than $30 billion for energy initiatives.

The Democrats sure haven't put much money into these campaigns.
the democrat candidates aren't bought and paid for by the lobbyist's loot.
It's easy to understand why the valley incumbent republicans vote the way they do when looking at who is paying for their campaigns.
I didn't say lobbyist i said Democrats or do you consider them as the same ?
Anon,
Do you mean the Democratic Party?
Yes sir i did.
The state has put no money into these races. Our guys have been doing this all themselves.
Fulk that is not true some HOD races have been given money from the Congressional districts. The 5th district has given $2,000 dollars to a candidate that is no longer even in the race and only gave $500 to Greg Marrow why is that ?
That you would have to ask of someone on the 6th District Committee Anon. I don't keep up with what they do. Each District Congressional Committee decides what they do as far as fundraising and dispersal. I'm glad to hear they were able to help Greg. Who did they give 2,000.00?
I'm sorry, I re read your comment and you were referring to the 5th District.
Dave Guill but don't take my word for it take a look at VPAP. I do love me some VPAP they let you see who puts the money where their mouth is.
Hey anon, let's stay on topic. Donations have nothing to do with the post.
Hey Lacy Fulk made the post and he seems to think they do so take it up with him.
Anon,
I answered a question you asked.
Care to comment on any of my candidates' ideas? That is what the post was about.
Sure i would. Greg Marrow seems to really have some great ideas. I have asked him several questions and i liked the answers he gave i even offered to give him some Republican advice (which he hasn't asked for) i think he is a good man who has a tough road in front of him. The 26th district seat will be hard for a Democrat to win with just Democrat support. In 2008 he would have had alot better chance. I really dont know alot about the others but i will say its going to be a tough year on Democrats. Republicans,Democrats and indies are all upset with the large amounts of debt the government is adding on. Greg doesn't really sound alot like a Democrat with some of the answers he has given me so he might have the best chance.
Fulk please forgive me i made a mistake i Meant Gene Hart not Greg Marrow thats what i get for trying to do three things at the same time.
None of these seats are even on the radar as far as possible Dem pickups. Overall, The GOP is expected-even amongst some honest Dem observers-to pick up at least a couple HoD seats, besides.
We shall see.
Anon,
I've been paying attention to a couple of different races, and I don't think Marrow sounds like a Dem either.
Hart, Marrow, and Lesinski are all successful small businessmen. What do Delegates Lohr, Landes, or Lesinski know about running a business? They don't have a clue.
And I am not happy about Mr. Lohr taking money from the schools for giving motivational speeches. He should be ashamed of himself.
Fulk did i answer your question ?
Lesinski's opponent is Del. Todd Gilbert, a fellow who takes two paychecks from the government. One as a government prosecutor, and another as a government legislator. What would he know about making a payroll in tough times?
Anon, yes you did, thanks.
I've seen these gentlemen numerous times over the past months and I must say they are an impressive group. Hart,Marrow, Lesinski and Curren are the best candidates I ever remember from the Valley, from either party.
