Welcome to Glenn Beck's Crazy Town USA

Texas Governor Rick Perry ,who helped Glenn Beck get this ball rolling was a no show.

...the protesters had Larry Kilgore, a “Christian activist” and candidate for governor who has endorsed executions for homosexuals; Debra Medina, a Ron Paul Republican and a slightly-less long-shot candidate for governor; and Melissa Pehle-Hill, yet another fringe candidate and a member of a self-appointed “citizens grand jury” investigating Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro.

“I hate that flag up there,” Kilgore said pointing to the American flag flying over the Capitol. “I hate the United States government. … They’re an evil, corrupt government. They need to go. Sovereignty is not good enough. Secession is what we need!”

“We hate the United States!,” he said later in the speech.

Medina chipped in: “We are aware that stepping off into secession may in fact be a bloody war. We are aware that the tree of freedom is occasionally watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots.”

Crazy Town is accurate.

The Texas nuts are ignorant of their own history:
"You go ask Sam Houston what he thought about secession. He did it anyway." (History lesson: Houston opposed secession. He ran for governor as an independent Unionist in 1859. Despite his efforts, the people of Texas voted to secede, and he was forced out of office in March 1861.)

"Another self-styled patriot invoked George Washington as an ally" ... Teaparty folks might want to read up on the Whiskey Rebellionto learn how George Washington dealt with people who don't want to pay their taxes.

Thank you Lowell.

I spent time this morning sending out some emails telling the companies what I thought.

It must be nice to have such a selective memory and be able to forget all the America-hating Leftist hordes who protested when Bush was President, eh Fulk? The flag and effigy burning, the hate dripping from their signs calling for the death of the President, etc. Would you like some links to the myriad of examples I remember?

Remember the “free speech zones” of the last eight years? Remember how, during George W. Bush’s 2006 State of the Union, Cindy Sheehan, mother of slain American soldier Casey Sheehan, was arrested for her t-shirt that read “2,242 Dead. How many more?” Remember the many vetted crowds and the systematic hushing-up of dissenting voices?

Remember when Bush met with Cindy Sheehan and other families of the fallen, in private and way from the cameras?

And where was this systematic hushing up of dissenting voices? Did the WH force Air America off the air? Were the editorial boards at the NY Times, WaPo, etc, etc summarily replaced? Were the Leftist tools who gathered in the streets spewing their hate shot en masse? Hmm, don't seem to remember that.

Liberals behaved like absolute a-holes under Bush. For any of you to criticize anyone protesting Obama is hysterical.

"hysterical" is what best describes you and your hero Beck.
You guys are coming all undone.

During eight years of Bush, progressives and those on the left (and, after a while, many in the center too) protested vigorously, passionately, determinedly, and-whoa, get this!-peacefully.

But seven meager months into the Obama administration, and right-wing extremists are talking secession, fabricating lies to induce fear and are stockpiling ammunition.

How was Bush able to keep you quiet and supportive while he walked America into the Iraq quagmire, doubled the national debt, and blew up the American economy?

A: You are a gullible tool, still in use.

Hahahaha. That's a joke. Peacefully? That's why there were police in riot gear at many of those anti-war hatefests, right? That's why people carried signs wishing death upon the President, burning things in effigy, using Nazi and Hitler comparisons, etc...sure sounds peaceful to me.

Fabricating lies to induce fear? Hahaha...you sure are bringing the funny. Which ones are those? Cuts to Medicare? Obama has said he wants to cut from Medicare Advantage. Death panels? Obama himself has said in the past tough decisions might need to be made about expensive, end of life treatment. Adding to the deficit? According the CBO, its going to be costlier than estimated and the savings being claimed won't materialize. Not able to keep your current plan? Unless the terms of the plan change, then your forced into the "exchange" they want to set up where you have to choose amongst the plans they've decided should be offered. Raising taxes? The rich can't pay for all this, and the estimated cost savings aren't going to materialize. Something will have to give.

The bottom line is that conservatives, Blue Dogs, and whole lot of moderates are very distrustful of this effort. THAT, my anon friend, is a failure of DEMOCRAT leadership, especially from the WH. The only side coming undone is your own. You've got Dems calling fellow Dems brain dead, you've got libs upset about the possible lack of a public option, you've got Blue Dogs and those in Republican-leaning districts worried about the liberal bent of the legislation that's before them. And, you're losing indies in the process.

And Bubby the hack, keep on fighting the good fight. Your free thinking continues to amaze.

What you morons fail to realize is that Beck has a much bigger following than lovable ole Keith Olberman and Mad Cow ever had. And even if you succeed in getting every company in the world to boycott him, people will still tune in to his radio show. And if you shut that down, he'll still be able to broadcast over the internet. And people will still listen. He is funny, inciteful, informative, and he thinks outside the box. For any moron to judge him on a few comments taken out of context shows what puny minded tools you are. You little girls can't handle free speech--it might cause some of you to doubt your own propaganda.

That picture of Beck crying just says it all. What a pathetic loon. Unless you are selling kleenex or antidepressants why would anyone want to have their product affiliated with this goof?
