Deeds Building Momentum - McDonnell Losing Ground

Another poll shows Bob McDonnell ahead of R. Creigh Deeds for governor -- this one, however, by 5 percentage points -- with Deeds getting a boost among fellow Democrats from the fallout over McDonnell's controversial law-school thesis.

The Republican apparently leads Deeds, 42 percent to 37 percent, and 20 percent are undecided, according to Clarus Research Group, a nonpartisan polling firm in Washington led by Ronald A. Faucheux, former publisher and editor of Campaigns & Elections magazine.

This explains why McDonnell is using bad language when questioned about his transportation plan.

When pushed on whether he would raise taxes he fired back:

"I'm going to find other ways to be able to fund transportation. I've outlined 12 f——-g funding mechanisms that are creative, that are entrepreneurial."

Its bad enough that the RNC pledged $7 million to McDonnell yesterday.. He going to need some very expensive ad men to reshine his "moderate" wax job.

This is the kind of redistribution of wealth that makes my heart sing. "Bob McDonnell, Bleeding the Republican Party Dry".

Deeds will not win. BHO and Tim Kaine are helping Bob McDonnell everyday.

Um, the DNC had already pledged millions to Deeds, Bubby, so by your idiot logic they did so because they know he's run a lackluster, crappy-ass campaign. Even that poll said Deeds isn't that much ahead in liberal NoVa.

Here's the polling data that makes Bob McDonnell curse like a mule skinner:

"52 percent of all voters said they had heard about the McDonnell thesis story.
Among them, 5 percent said the story made them feel more favorable toward
McDonnell, 31 percent said it may them feel less favorable, and 63 percent
said it had no effect."

So, 6:1 when people learn about Taliban Bob's political/religious extremism they give him a thumbs down. And 48% of the voters haven't heard about the Thesis...its time that Virginians hear about the Real Bob McDonnell.

I betcha Taliban Bob just loves this idea.

Keep them women down!

I didn't realize McDonnell was such a small man.

He is!

63 percent said it had no effect, Bubby. I love this site...your shameless shilling is just hilarious! Deeds has run a miserable campaign, and all you have to pin your hopes on is WaPo continuing to talk about a thesis most people say has no effect on their vote. Good job.

So women that have been victims of domestic violence are denied treatment for injuries by health insurance companies because it is a "pre-existing condition" ? ! !

And Republicans voted to allow that travesty to continue? Since 1993?

Who are they working for?

Bubby, you flaming idiot, OF COURSE 31% said it made him less favorable. That is almost exactly the percentage of godless liberal heathens in our society (unfortunately). Duh. Those same twits wouldn't have voted for him even if hell froze over, so he isn't missing anything. The rest of society see the issue for what it is, desperation from Deeds and his godless heathen followers.

My wife noted that Bob is a handsome man with a gorgeous haircut but at 5'9" his height was a deal breaker. The quote was, "Republicans already have a victim complex, we don't need a little man complex thrown in."

Bubby your wife must not have had very high standards to start with if she married you.

Bubby im still waiting for your post on ACORN.

ToniD did you know that Deeds hate your kind of people.

Anon, did you ever figure out who the father of your wife's baby is?

Wonder why the Democrats had to dig something up on Bob McDonnell from 20 years ago for fellow Democrats to start giving Deeds a boost. Deeds must not be very well liked by Democrats if it took a 20 year old thesis to get them on board.

anon, you are a liar.
The Democrats didn't bring up McDonnell's thesis, McDonnell did in an interview with the WaPo. He has no one to blame but himself and no amount of spin by you will change that fact.

Good point Robert.

I had noticed that as well.

Robert if im telling a lie it came from your master Lowell Fulk.

Yeah, Bob McDonnell's political thesis was introduced by Bob himself. He referenced it to the Washington Post as an example of his action on "welfare reform", of which there is very little in the thesis.

But he does refer (Page 52) to low income "families"...like poor people can't really have families.

Who is Bob McDonnell?

Bubby said...

Bob McDonnell used his Masters Thesis as his legislative blueprint. This is a really good point-by-point demonstration that what Bob wrote in 1989 was what Bob intends to do as our Big Brother.

So why is Bob telling Virginians that the Thesis doesn't matter anymore. Is this how the Religious Conservatives roll? They lie to get elected?

Anonymous said...

Obama sure lied to get elected it worked for him.

Anonymous said...

Bubby, Deeds wants to use Bob's thesis for a cover up because he doesn't have any plans.

Anonymous said...

Bubby why won't Deeds release his thesis what does he have to hide ?

"I didn't write when I was 34 years old that working women are a detriment to the family. I didn't write when I was 34 years old that Roe v. Wade ought to be overturned. I didn't write when I was 34 years old that contraception decisions ought to be subjected to the government."
