Gene Hart --- Leadership that Works

Leadership in the General Assembly has been lacking on finding transportation funding, argued Hart, who added that transportation would be his top priority as a legislator. "We know we need more revenue," he said.

Lohr, who is seeking his third two-year term, supported a schedule of abusive-driver fees in 2007 meant to help raise revenue. But many Virginians became upset with the fees, especially a provision exempting out-of-state drivers.
Lohr voted in 2008 to repeal the fees in light of the public outcry.

Hart called the abusive-driver fee program a boondoggle.

Hart listen to everything Fulk tells you he REALLY knows how to win elections.

Hey Matt Lohr, do you have any original ideas or a vision for the future of the Valley that doesn't have Valley citizens raising pumpkins and building corn mazes next to a crumbling interstate?

Or should we all start selling "motivational speeches" to taxpayer-supported agencies?

Gene Hart wants to raise taxes. Sounds like a Democrat to me spend and tax. Democrats want to destroy the states tourism with higher taxes on gas and by closing rest stops.

Economics for Valley Republicans:

--The rest areas were closed because your Republican majority didn't fund VDOT. They thought they were really zinging the Gov, but they shot you in the foot instead. Good show!

--Gasoline is more expensive in all of the surrounding states. You would know this if you ever left the Valley.

--Things cost money. Grover Norquist is a tooth fairy. I understand that taxes are very low in Communist China - but they ride bikes to work and pay "user fees" which is Republican for "taxes".

Matt Lohr wants to cut taxes on everything, but he still wants to GET HIS SHARE away from school children! When he was on the school board he voted to punish little kids whose parents were behind on paying for their lunch, but he is very happy to charge thousands of dollars as a PAID speaker to elementary schools... What a JERK!!!
